THIS PLACE CLOSED. The owner turned it into another restaurant, but that has now closed too, as far as I can tell, but I am not certain as of March 2013. The same owner a few years ago opened another great place, Jackson's, a block away (see tip), and that seems to be drawing most of the energy and business right now.

This is a stylish and very nice restaurant serving California/eclectic cuisine. It's in a neat, semi-inudstrial building that has been made very nice, with a central area that is open and airy like an outdoor terrace but still enclosed, and a more formal "inside" dining area.

For dinner, I would recommend reservations since they are usually quite busy then and often if you come without reservations you won't be able to get a table. Lunchtime is less of a problem.

Favorite Dish: The crab cakes are excellent and filling.

The one thing that I would avoid is the lemonade. It says it's fresh, but it doesn't taste very good. However, there's pleny of wine, "fancy" soda pop, and other stuff to choose from.
