Apeldoorn is situated more or less in the middle of the Netherlands. It is very easy accessible as well by car as by public transportation.

Train
The city is situated along the main line between the eastern and western parts of the Netherlands; with cities like Enschede, Deventer, Amersfoort, Utrecht, Rotterdam and Amsterdam. There is also a direct connection with Schiphol Airport.
To reach the northern or southern part of the country you have to change trains in either Deventer or Utrecht.

Bus
Apeldoorn is the 'capital' of the Veluwe, one of the most important tourist areas in the Netherlands with a lot of very interesting sites to visit. From Apeldoorn most villages on and most cities along the Veluwe are accessible by public busses with many lines and departures from the bus station in Apeldoorn. This station is situated next to the train station.
