Bayshore, Tampa: 6 reviews and 7 photos

Where the locals go for a good walk. This 10-foot-wide sidewalk is 4.5 mile long along the bay and is where the locals go to walk and roller blade. A long this walk you will see stunning views of the bay and some of the most amazing homes in the south.

If you are biking there is an additional 3-mile, on-road bike lane that extends the north-bound lane of Bayshore Boulevard between Rome Avenue and Gandy Boulevard.

Trail amenities include benches, a water fountain, bicycle parking, a city marina and fitness stations.

When you are there be sure to head up Howard Avenue for some of the best places in Tampa to eat and/or down to Hyde Park historic district for a nice look at old Tampa and for some quaint stores.

Directions: Bayshore is not hard to find. It's right next to downtown and Davis Island. It is along the water
