"Hot Poring Springs" State of Sabah Things to Do Tip by hennanights

State of Sabah Things to Do: 272 reviews and 407 photos

We had a quick visit to Hot Poring Springs. We had a wander around the hot pools but the day we visited there were a lot of locals. All the baths were full and there was no opportunity to even feel the water. The gardens were quite nice though I especially enjoyed the Mamut River with its stark white rocks. After the canopy walk we had lunch in the restaurant. The meal was quite bad and very expensive - bring a packed lunch. Out the front there are some small shops selling knick knacks. Walk a little further down and there are some local shops. We had a look at these, saw some very cute kids playing, and then back to our room. I hate to be negative but I have to admit that I easily could have skipped Hot poring all together. It wasn't very exciting but on the other hand you don't know if you don't go.

Price: I cant remember the price only that it was too expensive and again we were hit up for a camera fee.
