This restaurant is one I found when I went to the National Council of Mathematics Teachers Conference. I was there 3 nights and ate there for 3 nights. The portions were AMPLE and the service was nice and friendly. I spoke with the manager, Jim Costello, and found out that many visiting major league teams and professional boxers and athletes eat at Caleco's when they are in town. Friendly place, full of locals with a good bar. Their bread rolls are baked on the premises and the best I have ever had. The menu is varied and priced right. The steaks were reasonable for the portions served.

Favorite Dish: The St. Louis style pizza was good and typical. I liked the cajun pasta and the creamy sauce.
