The Civil Defence Heritage Gallery is located in the centre of town and just opposite Funan Shopping Centre and housed inside the Central Fire Station. It showcases the fighting and civil defence developments in Singapore from the late 1800s to present. It aims to promote awareness of Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) to the public.
There are two level of exhibitions. On the first level the real models of fire engines are displayed and you could see how they have evolved thru the years. On the second level there are more interactive stations and videos on the missions.
Admission is free of charge.
Opens on Tue to Sun from 10am to 5pm.
You could also pay a visit to the Singapore Philatelic Museum which is a 3 mins walk away.
