OverDraught: "Front Street West" Toronto Restaurant Tip by johngayton
Toronto Restaurants: 820 reviews and 846 photos
There's this little block of old Toronto surrounded by the hi-fly club here on Front St West, with two-up, two-down bars including the huge Jack Astors and various others
I gave Jack Astors a miss, had a quick beer in Armadillo and then returned the following luchtime for the offerings at "OverDraught"
This purports to be an "Irish Bar" and certainly the servers with their short plaid skirts give it an "authentic feel" ;) Ach, that's just me being a dirty old man!!!
Favorite Dish: I just couldn't resist the potato, beer and cheddar soup, with the French Dip steak baguette. Absolutely delish! I think it was about 8 or so bucks, and with a couple of beers made the total about $20 Cdn including tip.
Address: 156 Front St West
Comparison: about average
Directions: That odd-bod group of old buildings on Front St.
