Crab Racing at the Main Bar: "Anyone have gambling habits?" Maldives Nightlife Tip by Conflictrealms

Once a week at the Mekuunu Bar, they hold the crab racing competition. The crabs are hermit crabs in shells.

Each crab has a number on their back, and you pick out a number. When your crab is about to race, you put it in the centre circle with a glass over it, and then when it begins, you raise the glass. The first crab to get out of the outter circle wins.

The prizes that were given out when I was there were just a load of energy drinks. I'm not sure if the prizes change but it seemed they just had a load of drinks given to them on promotion by Rhino Drinks.
