  4 May Dodenherdenking

On 4 May we remember the people who died during a war. It is mainly for 2nd World War. A lot of soldiers and civilians were killed.
The Dutch flag will go half on a pole during the whole day. At 8pm we are quite for 2 minutes to remember all the people who died.

There is a foundation for this day. It is called 'Stichting 4 en 5 mei'. They have a website (www.4en5mei.nl), but it is only in Dutch. Haven't found an Eglish section at this site. The address of this foundation is:

Nationaal Comite 4 en 5 mei
Rapenburgerstraat 109
1011 VL Amsterdam
The Netherlands
