The National Gallery of Scotland houses some fine examples of art, furniture & scultures from the Renaissance period to post - impressionism as well as the national collection of Scottish art. The building was designed by William Playfair and was opened to the public in 1853. Entrance is free, but some exibitions carry a charge. The gallery also has a cafe, shop & disabled access they offer audio tours.
Open daily from 10.00 - 5.00
Late opening on Thursday till 7.00
