"Robin Hood - Prince of thieves?" Wimbledon Common Favorite Tip by Jenniflower
Wimbledon Common Favorites: 8 reviews and 13 photos
Favorite thing: Out of all the parks and commons we have walked in in England, East Sheen Common (off Richmond Park), and this Common have given us the feeling of being in Sherwood Forest, where Robin and his men hid and lived. As you are walking through certain parts of the Common you can easily picture this! :)
There's one little spot in Wimbledon Common where there is this very old Oak, and it reminds me of the Magic Faraway Tree... and when you look at the trunk of the tree, there is the face of an old man in it. It's quite weird actually, you have to see it to believe it.. will take a photo of it next time!
