"Swatstika" Bali Local Custom Tip by alvis

Bali Local Customs: 251 reviews and 398 photos

You may notice some places called Swastika and have seen the Swastika symbol in Hindu Temples. While it is better known as the sign for Nazism it had me baffled to why Indonesian's would show this sign. After some quick research I found this symbol is used in Hinduism to represent a "wheel of positive force" and in Sanskrit translates to "Goodness to be."
