I live in the Jewish District of Budapest
at the entrance of the old ghetto,
but this place has a more forbidding
atmoshere. Just walking around a cold
Febuary late afternoon really gave me
a feel of how desolated the place
became by wiping out a whole
population almost.
I'm not Jewish but lived in
Israel back in the '70's for
3 years. I remember on one of the kibbutz
where I lived, an olderly man had 32 members of his
family killed in the concentration camps, he was the
sole survivor. Also seeing women on buses in
Natanya with those numbers tatooed on their arms.

Address: To the south-east of the historical centre
