"Pleasant enough 2-star, good price." Delle Camelie Tip by leics

Small hotel (two floors only, no lift). 10 minutes walk to railway/ bus station & same to Duomo etc. Clean, large comfortable bed, 'wet-room' style shower/ bidet/ toilet (looked fairly new), marble floors and very high ceilings. Air con available (didn't need it). My room (8) was at the back, therefore no traffic noise (I always use earplugs anyway). Breakfast simple (brioche/roll/jam/coffee/juice) but adequate. Pleasant & courteous staff. May well use it again.

Update: I did use it again, and it was equally pleasant. This time, I got a triple for my single use! Staff still as courteous and helpful as before. I like this place; if I return to Florence I shall use it again.

Unique Qualities: Good position for walking the city and/or going further afield. Quiet area, felt safe enough as single woman. Owner happy for me to leave my bags for as long as I wanted after I'd checked-out.
