"Jerba's Beaches" Ile de Jerba Things to Do Tip by barryg23

Jerba has some lovely beaches, most of which are found on the East coast. Unfortunately the whole coastline is full of touristy hotels, full of visitors on package tours. Many of the hotels have sectioned off parts of the beach for the use of their guest. However, there are some sections open to the public.

The beaches are quite nice and it wasn't too crowded as we visited out of high season, in March. The water didn't look too clean near the shore and there weren't too many people swimming. We rented pedalos and spent about an hour out on the water.
