By Train: S- Bahn, line S 1 (Wannsee-Oranienburg) to Oranienburg (train terminates here; 50 min. journey from Friedrichstrasse station).
Regional train RE 5 from Berlin (various stations) to Oranienburg (40 min. journey from Zoologischer Garten station).
Regional train RB 12 from Lichtenberg station to Oranienburg (30 min journeny time).
Bus 804 departs hourly form the square in front of Oranienburg railway stations, in the direction of Malz, as far as the memorial (Gedenkstatte) or on foot, follow the signs (20 Mins)
BY CAR OR COACH 9FROM CENTRAL BERLIN):
take the A11 towards Hamburg; at the Oranienburg junciton take the A 10 (Berliner Ring) in the direction of Prenzlau as far as the Birkenwerder exit; then take the B 96 towards Oranienburg and follow the signs to the Memorial.
take the A 114; at the Pankow junction take the A 10 (Berliner Ring) in the direction of Hamburg as far as the Birkenwerder exit; then take the B 96 towards Oranienburg adn follow the signs to the Memorial.

On Mondays, the museums are closed
Guided tours and project days seminars cost 15 Eurps, - for groups of up to fifteen people and 25 Europs, - for groups of up to thirty people.
If you are on your own I would recomend buying a map for 50 euro cent...it is number and has details of each stop along the camp site....in addition you can rent for 5 Euros headphone in your language that coorisponds to each stop....(If you only have a short time I would recomend this)
