  Yet another fruitful trip!

The London equivalent of the overwhelmingly fantastic shopper's heaven Ladies' Street in Hong Kong, and this coming from one born in the city for shopaholics, that's saying a lot!

This is my flea market of choice in the city, as the range of goods and bargains are unbelievable! If you're looking for antiques, try the Nottinghill area. But if, like tourists packing lite, you don't want to love a few pieces of heavy china back, do see if you can bring back amazing deals for clothes (cut label but a Zara coat is a Zara coat), accessories, boots (£5-10!!) electrical equipment. When you're tired, there are also excellent Indian restaurants just off the main streets that are worthy of a visit.

Overheard on one shopping spree: "This place is endless!"

At its best on Saturdays (booths/shops operate from about 9/10 am to 3pm), though there is still a decent if not quite so extensive selection of goods on weekdays.

Address: Middlesex St., London E1 7JF
Directions: Exit at Liverpool Street tube station's main exit. Cross the pedestrian crossing and turn left. Take the first right turn into the side streets.
