"Starting a revolution" Dumfries and Galloway Things to Do Tip by coolcolin

Dumfries and Galloway Things to Do: 126 reviews and 228 photos

castledykes has a little moat and Bailey mound ,no castle though. Much of this park is in the very sheltered foundations of a much bigger building and the gardens safe from the wind are sheltered and exotic.
The little plaque commemorating why there is no castle gives one food for thought.

Address: castle dykes road
Directions: East of city centre ,past robert burns house.
