"Pere Lachaise" Père Lachaise Cemetery Tip by Eszter

Père Lachaise Cemetery, Paris: 62 reviews and 90 photos

This is Oscar Wilde's grave at Pere Lachaise cemetery. It's a bit difficult to see on my photo, but there are thousands of kisses on the stone - so the red and pink spots you can see are all lipstick...
Pere Lachaise is a really interesting place, it's worth a visit not only for Jim Morrison or Edith Piaf fans. You can also find the graves of such greats as La Fontaine, Frederic Chopin, Marcel Proust, Honore de Balzac, Moliere, or Sarah Bernhardt.
