Halite Market, Sofia: 7 reviews and 13 photos
That's a small shopping mall housed in a beautiful buildnig. It had been closed and abandoned since the 80's but a few years ago it was finally renovated. On the first level there are stalls selling fruit, bread, olives, food, delicious icecream, gifts, a bar and farmacies. On the second level there are some more stores and a food court with pizza, Bulgarian grill, pizza and doners. On the underground level there are more stores and a self-service restraurant from the Trops chain offering unexpensive Bulgarian food. There are also some archeological remains.
On a stairs-landing you can see a beautiful old clock which has been repaired.
