Old Town, Warsaw: 138 reviews and 305 photos
The Old Town Market Square, laid out between the 14th and the 15th centuries, was formerly the place of Festivities, fairies and executions, but was tragically demolished in 1817.
It was then rebuilt after the war in the 17th and 18th century, and today is one of the most beautiful places in Warsaw.
Its a very large square, and what makes it so unique to me was the facades of all the buildings within the square. They all have a different front, and a variety of different colours, making it a stunning place to walk around.
There are also a host of restaurants not only withing the square but also around the side streets of the squware, making it a perfect place to walk around, to admire the beauty of the square, and then having a few polish beers!
If you even come to Warsaw for a few hours, you have to make sure you see this square!
