The mission of the Baltimore Aquarium is to "stimulate interest in, develop knowledge about, and inspire stewardship of aquatic environments." The Aquarium opened in 1981 and has been entreating and educating visitors since. There are more than 10,500 creatures, the Baltimore Aquarium exhibits in their naturalistic habitats including stingrays, small sharks, sea turtles, bullfrogs, phytoplankton, monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and puffins. Don't miss the amazing Dolphin Show!!! Much construction has been going on lately to add an Australian exhibit.
