BEWARE of the fact that many Brussels' taxi drivers are immigrants with African or Middle Eastern French and little English who often know nothing of the city either. If you are going beyond 'downtown' they have to sit and look at the map for several minutes and still ask you for the nearest metro station.
If you want a taxi both to and from the airport, try Autolux. They give you a special 'return deal'.
