"School House" in Glenfinnan: "Lodging in Scotland" Scotland Hotel Tip by Florida999

Scotland Hotels: 273 reviews and 467 photos

We rented a beautiful old remodeled school house in Glenfinnan .
It was well worth the money! The owners were very friendly also.
There were deer all around the house and we walked up the watch the steam train go by on the bridge.

We stayed there with 7 people, so it was not as expensive as a hotel would have been.

Unique Qualities: Nice and well equipped kitchen, nice old wood stove/heater in the living room. Great location!!!

Price Comparison: about average
Directions: about 15 minutes from Fort William ( east of there)
