Stayed in the superior dongas out the back which were modern, bright and comfortable with cooking facilities.
There are older motel style units available separate from the hotel building and hostel back packer accommodation in the hotel itself.
Enjoyed the overnight stay with plenty of action in the bar and at the pool table with a busload of backpackers staying overnight.
Meal in the dining room was typical of country hospitality.

Unique Qualities: Swimming Pool out the back welcome relief on a hot day.
Chance to drink in the Poddy Dodgers' Bar. The bloke next to you in the bar could be/was one. "Poddy Dodger" = cattle rustler.
