One of Rome's most ancient roads

We walked (and struggled with the buggy!) into the Forum via the Via Sacre, an ancient Roman road (our tour guide told us possibly the oldest road in Rome) leading from the coliseum to the Forum.

The cobblestones here are extremely difficult to walk on if you need any walking help, and even for able walkers, you need to be careful not to twist your ankle!

I have added this info onto a warning tip too, as it needs one I feel.

At the end of this ancient road is the Arch of Titus.

Then you enter the Forum itself :)
