"Crowded Day At The Beach" Algarrobo Things to Do Tip by VeronicaG

Although Chilean waters are usually cool due to currents circulating from Antarctica, it was a hot day so people were swimming when we arrived. Many families traveled to Algarrobo hoping to enjoy a last weekend before school started and most of these people were on the beach. Some were soaking up the sun on beach towels, others were playing with their children--we were all there to enjoy the last few days of summer.

The sound of the waves gently lapping at the shore, the excited voices of children splashing in the water and the calls of the birds overhead all created a carefree and peaceful mood.
Ah, a day at the beach...such joy!
