Club Sandwich Cafe: "A huge selection of sandwiches!" Club Sandwich Cafe Tip by SWFC_Fan
Club Sandwich Cafe, Cancún: 1 reviews and 1 photos
Club Sandwich Cafe is a large, modern cafe located on Avenida Tulum in downtown Cancun, just a short walk from the bus terminal.
I guess that it is Canadian-owned (judging by the Canadian flags that hang outside during opening hours and decorate each table inside!).
The cafe is popular with locals and tourists alike, generally attracting a youngish smart-casual crowd. The staff are friendly and attentive and all speak perfect English.
The menu includes salads, soups, cakes, ice creams and coffees......but as its name would suggest the main item on offer is sandwiches!
There is no shortage of potential fillings for your sandwich. For example, there are sandwiches devoted to various countries and regions. A "Greek" sandwich (olives, pasta, cheese and salad), an "English" sandwich (beef, bacon, salad and mustard), a "Cancun" sandwich (garlic shrimps) and other sandwiches named after France, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Boston and Cajun (each containing some unique combination of meats, cheeses, salad items and sauces).
Favorite Dish: A more patriotic person than myself would surely have opted for the "English" sandwich, but I turned that down in favour of (the admittedly very similar):
Roast beef and mustard sandwich - Cost: 61 Pesos
An average sized sandwich filled with thin slices of roast beef, mustard, lettuce, tomato and pickle and served with french fries.
Bottle of Sol beer - Cost: 25 Pesos
Cappuccino topped with cinnamon - Cost: 23 Pesos
A great choice of sandwiches and coffees in a bright, modern cafe!
Address: Avenida Tulum
Price Comparison: more expensive than average
Directions: Located on Avenida Tulum. Approx. 5 minutes walk from bus terminal.
