"On Santorini: Lauda Rooms and..." Greece Hotel Tip by AldenM1

On Santorini: Lauda Rooms and Apartments, Oia. (For Athens, see my Athens page.)
Varies according to the season -- it was the least expensive in the area when we were there because it was actually the ONLY place open in the area. I imagine the price gets heftier when full tourist season is on, because Oia is fabulously beautiful and smart people want to be there!

Unique Qualities: This place is the most beautiful place you will ever stay. The view is breathtaking and the rooms are sweet little whitewashed cave-rooms, pristine and relaxing. The owners are extremely friendly, and did I mention the view?

Price Comparison: least expensive
Directions: In the caldera cliffs of Oia on the island of Santorini, about a two-minute walk from the bus station. From the town square/bus stop, face the caldera and head left.
