Bygdoy is the peninsula that is housing the most important museums in Oslo.

The Folk museum, a large open air museum with typical buildings from various periods in Norwegian history, the Viking ship museum, with two viking-ships and various viking artifacts, the Norwegian maritime museum, the Kon-Tiki museum and the Fram-museum are all located here.

Due to the lack of time we have visited only the Fram-museum, which is displaying the vessel Fram, used to enter both the North and South Pole.
