Sometimes all it takes is for the sun to set and Newport Avenue can become one big party. Other times there are some sort of street fair going on.

This photo was taken at the Annual OB Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off Festival last June. This year (2012) they will be celebrating their 125 Anniversary and the Festival will be bigger then ever. there are six stages, almost all types of music and even a Lazer Tag and water slide will be offered.

So, if you love a crowd to party with come to OB on a Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday or any of the Festival days, wait for the sun to set and you're there.

Any other night it will be less crowded but still it's not too hard to find a fun place to be.
