Nodding Head: "Philly Neighborhood Brewpub" Philadelphia Restaurant Tip by spgood301

Philadelphia Restaurants: 460 reviews and 478 photos

Nodding Head is a brewpub on Sansom Street. They brew their own beer - I had the 60 Shilling Ale, a Scottish brew that was pretty good, though not quite to my taste. Their menu can be best described as higher class pub grub. The food is quite good, and it's in a very nice setting too - definitely not a dive.

You'll see the Nodding Head on Sansom, between 15th and 16th Streets. You'll have to go upstairs but, despite any outward appearances, it's really a very big restaurant.

For hand crafted beer and good food, check out the Nodding Head

Favorite Dish: I had the buffalo chicken wings. They're very good, but also HUGE. I think the chickens may have been taking steroids. Just kidding :-)
