In this neighborhood, you will find the origins of Calgary. Inglewood is the first area to be settled in around 1880...along the Bow river, east of the Bow River. Because it wa believed that the Canadian Pacific Railway would build its station there, speculators bought lots in Inglewood.
For me, It is the nicest neighborhood of Calgary because of this historic flair...wonderful wooden houses which are one century old, a great avenue with shops that have an old look...
