This 1903 building once housed the German Consulate Mr L Ratazzi, a wine and spirit merchant who also coupled as the Italian Consul. When World War I started, he was interned. The architecture is resemblance of old Bavarian architecture. During the 1990's, a nightclub operated out of the building.
