"Nice Hilltop Hotel" Tegnerlunden Tip by travelfrosch

The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. Rooms were of good size and comfy, if not stylish. A great buffet breakfast is served on the top floor, with an excellent panorama view of Stockholm.

When we visited, Tegnérlunden was a member of the SkanPlus consortium, which allowed for steep discounts off the rack rate (SEK 1775 per double room as of January 2007) on weekends and during Summer (I think we paid about SEK 750). While the SkanPlus program has been discontinued, the hotel offers discount packages for weekends and some days in the summer. They also have special deals for extra beds or rooms for accompanying children and teenagers -- check the website for details. Garage facilities are available for SEK 250 per night.
