Jardine Tuileries reaches approximately one kilometer from the Carusel Square up to the Place Concorde.
The Carusel arch was constructed in the beginning of XIX century in honour of the victories gained by Napoleon. Columns from a red and white marble frame its three flights, and each of the parties is richly decorated by bas-reliefs. In the center, four bronze horses were established. Napoleon ordered to take them off from the St Marko Cathedral in Venice where they were returned later. Now the Arch crowns bronze quadriga with a statue of the World.
