"Ouch!" Traditional Thai massage Tip by chatterley

Traditional Thai massage, Bangkok: 48 reviews and 44 photos

You MUST try the traditional Thai massage when you visit the country. We went for a 45-minute session of Thai foot massage at a mall....My mum, brother and hubby all felt soooo good that they nearly fell asleep.... but i was in so much pain! Guess my threshold of pain isn't very high! We also tried the Thai body massage (1 hour) at the hotel (Asia Hotel) spa. It was very relaxing and good for your stiff muscles. My hubby liked it so much that he went for another treatment the following day.

Prices are pretty attractive (compared to what you pay in Singapore), but I prefer to go for the spa salons in hotels. Some of the "spa" and "massage parlours" you find in the sois do look a tad sleazy....
