"Be prepared for the Outback" Uluru National Park (Ayers Rock) Packing List Tip by Restless-in-kl

Luggage and bags: Backpack is the best as out here it's all steps and climbing to do

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Summer months
- Wide brim hat
- Sunglasses and sunblock
- Lotsa of water
- Insect repellant
- Cover your shoulders, arms and legs to prevent sunburn
- Good walking shoes (preferably covered)

Winter months
- Wide brim hat
- Sunglasses and sunblock
- Lotsa of water
- Warm jacket
- Body lotion
- Good walking shoes (preferably covered)

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Always bring sufficient supplies as it's quite difficult to find shops here

Photo Equipment: Load up as these touristy places are expensive

Miscellaneous: If you have a car, stock up on cartons of water from Alice Springs discount shops/supermarkets (except in summer as it gets too hot if kept in cars) as it's expensive

Review Helpfulness: 2.5 out of 5 stars
