"Streams, Waterfalls, & Pools along The Hana Hwy." Maui Things to Do Tip by H-TownJourneyman

While navigating down the Road to Hana, many visitors to Maui become so determined to make it to the actual town of Hana, as well as looking at the sights out over the ocean, they by-pass many of the beautiful sights that are located along the way. But chances are in many cases you will be able to find many of them simply by spotting all the cars that are parked near a certain area. There are loads of gorgeous steams, waterfalls and natural pools & ponds along the Hana Hwy. that are not to be missed. Several of which are right up next to the road, but many require at least a little hike back into the forests. A good way to keep an eye out for these beauties, if your fellow sightseers & their automobiles don't attract your attention, are bridges. Where there are bridges, there are streams. And where there are streams, in many cases there are waterfalls and pools! The Lower & Upper Puohokamoa Falls, Haipua'ena Falls, & 3 Bears Falls are some of the many cascading waterfalls you can see, along with their corresponding pools & streams. You will see many people diving right in to some of the bigger ponds & pools, so if you feel up to it, go ahead & take a dip yourself!
