This famous pub and London landmark on Hampstead Heath in North London was originally a coach house. It was built in the 1700's and it was named after one of the leaders of the peasant revolts against Richard II in the 1300's. "Jack Straw" would deliver his speeches from a hay wagon which became know as his "castle" on the Heath.
It's been a long time since I was last in here so can't really say what it is like now - but check the website for more info!
Update Dec 07 - this pub has now been converted into flats
