This beautiful and sophisticated collection includes objects of art from Iran, Egypt, Syria and India: from the wooden door panel with plant ornamentation from the Palace of Djawsaq al-Khaqani from Iraq to the Koran desk, from the writing tools to the large dish with rings of fish (Mongol Iran), etc.

The gorgeous Mantes carpet, that once covered the floor of a church, is displayed in the center of the gallery.

From the Ottoman world, colorful ceramic from Iznik (Turkey) are presented, but also a red and blue mosque carpet.
