"Long Chau Temple" Hue Things to Do Tip by Blatherwick
Hue Things to Do: 358 reviews and 862 photos
The Long Chau Temple was built by Emporer Gia Long to worship 15 guardian saints of the royal elephants. The temple also enshrined military elephants killed in wars, all of which were posthumously ordained to the rank of Marshall. Two elephant tombs remain in the cemetery, those of Marshalls Re and O Long. Although badly looted, Long Chau Temple remains a nice site and you can probably have it to yourself.
Directions: About 150 meters from the Ho Quyen Arena.
