This is an unique looking building, right in the Loop. The Thompson Center houses many state offices (it's also called the State of Illinois Building). You may be interested in the food court on the lower floor, with many fast food restaurants. Just go down the escalator when you first walk in. You can also catch the train there - the station is right next to the food court.

The inside of the building has a tall, interesting looking roof. I'll have to get a picture of it sometime.

Address: Randolph & Lake, between La Salle & Clark
Directions: Right in the loop, next to the Lake Street El
Phone: 100 W Randolph St
