Jade Buddha is a great restaurant located in the heart of Brisbane along the river in prime restaurant territory.

If ever you want to impress someone with the night view of the Brisbane River this is a good place to start with views directly to the Story Bridge and Kangaroo Point Cliffs.

The entrees are superb. We tried a mixed share platter which allowed us to try 3 of their entre dishes. Our choices Crab Spring Rolls, Lemongress Swordfish, and Scallops. Absolutely devine. I think this was about $25 or so. Worked out about $8 for each of us sharing the entree...

Favorite Dish: I went for the Fillet Steak for the main meal. I wasn't disappointed. Served on a bed of potato and topped with Tempura battered Onion Rings if I remember rightly. Sadly the steak didn't have a chance at survival as it tasted too good.

Friends of mine tried the Salmon, and the Lamb Curry. They also were of high standard.

Meal prices were reasonable. I think mine was about $25 and it was one of the more pricey. Most mains were around $20 to $25.

Directions: Eagle St Pier is along the river at the corner of Eagle St and Charlotte St. The restaurant occupies the space of the former nightclub City Rowers. Upstairs is a Japanese style wine/cocktail bar. It's all quite swish.
