Pasaraya, Solo: "Buying a False Hair (Bun) for Special Occasions" Top 5 Page for this destination Solo Shopping Tip by bpacker

A traditional Indonesian lady usually does her hair in a pouffy bun (sangul) for special occasions. So if you were to enter a hair dressing shop in Java, you'll likely see "sangul" as one of their hair dressing services. I was bloody amused when I popped into a supermarket one night only to see a shop selling hair buns. Guess this makes a visit to the hair dressers' redundant. Just pop on a bun and go!
