"See London from the Thames River" Greater London Things to Do Tip by aukahkay
Greater London Things to Do: 184 reviews and 357 photos
Many of the major sights in London can be viewed from the River Thames. From Westminster Pier, there are sightseeing boats departing at regular intervals. I took a one-hour Thames cruise which sailed eastwards down the Thames, passing by landmarks such as the Tower Bridge, Tower of London, London Bridge, Blackfriars Bridge, Houses of Parliament and the now defunct Millenium Dome. I could see a lot of new construction and development at the Canary Wharfs area with high class condominiums springing up from what was previously a dilapidated area.
Address: Westminster Pier
Directions: Subway to Westminster station
