"22nd district - Donaustadt" Vienna Favorite Tip by pakistanibrain

Favorite thing: The Donauturm (Danube Tower) is a 252 meter high structure in the middle of the Donaupark. It has two express lifts that take you up to the observation desk (Height 150 meters) and to the revolving restaurants (at 160 and 170 meters). From there you can see all around Vienna and also get a view of the Wienerwald (forest around Vienna). You can also do Bungee jumping from the observation desk when the weather allows it.
Donaustadt (that's how the 22nd district is called) is the largest district of Vienna by its area as well as by its population. It stretches all over the Eastern part of Vienna and touches the Danube on one side and some small villages outside Vienna on the other side. I live in the 22nd district myself and it's a really nice and calm place to live with a lot of greenery.
