In Eze, burial of dead was a problem.
Their site had to be close to the church
so the families could meditate beside
the tombs without leaving the village.
Some Lords & notables also expressed
the desire to be buried directly in the
church or, with the payment of one ecu
gold, in the vault of St. Jean Baptist Chapel.
