Some things to know when entering a Wat / Temple:
- Dress properly: cover your shoulders, cover your legs (long trousers or skirts). At some Wats you can rent shawls, but it is better (and cheaper) to come prepared. In the picture you can see a sign with what is alowed and what not.
- Take off your shoes at the entrance.
- Never show your bare feet towards the Buddha. Take care how you sit down in front of it.
- Never have your head higher than that of the Buddha.
