"Jerash: The Cathedral" Jerash - Gerasa Tip by MiguelMV
Jerash - Gerasa, Jordan: 87 reviews and 157 photos
Facing the Cardo Maximus, some stairs will lead you to the Cathedral or Temple of Dionisios, built in the 2nd century A.D. It used to be the temple of Dionisios, but byzantines built there, on the 4th century, their cathedral. There are very few remains of this temple, but the very decorated porch at the entrance can give you an idea of how the temple used to be.
